Tao Leigh Goffe co-edits the Global Black History section of Public Books. She is a writer and interdisciplinary theorist specializing in the histories of imperialism, migration, and globalization. She is Associate Professor of literary theory and cultural history at Hunter College, City University of New York, where she is also the director of the Dark Laboratory. Her research examines the unfolding relationship between race, climate, and technology.
