Xavier Dapena is assistant professor of Spanish and director of world film studies at Iowa State University. He has coedited The Political Imagination in Spanish Graphic Narrative (Routledge, 2024) and Streaming Spain and Mexico: The New Hispanic TV Fiction (Liverpool University Press, forthcoming). His forthcoming book, Nobody Expects the Spanish Revolution, explores radical imagination after the indignados mobilization.
