Miaad Banki is a Tehran-based literary translator, academic, and university lecturer holding a PhD in English Literature. As the authorized Persian translator for Fernanda Trías, Brenda Navarro, and Ariana Harwicz, his work explores the “syntax of anxiety” and fractured narratives. His writing and interviews have appeared in Asymptote and Full Stop, and are forthcoming in Latin American Literature Today. He is currently preparing the Persian edition of Harwicz’s Perder el juicio.
