Colleen Ruth Rosenfeld

Colleen Ruth Rosenfeld is professor of English at Pomona College and the author of Indecorous Thinking: Figures of Speech in Early Modern Poetics (Fordham University Press, 2018). Her essays on style and epistemology have appeared in PMLA, ELH, and Modern Philology. She is writing a book manuscript entitled “Seeing Things Otherwise,” in which she argues for the creative and critical value of variation through readings of William Shakespeare’s Sonnets and Pablo Picasso’s Las Meninas (after Velázquez).
