Emiliano Aguilar is an assistant professor of history at the University of Notre Dame, specializing in Latina/o, labor, urban, and political history. He is currently completing a manuscript about how Mexicans and Puerto Ricans navigated and utilized political corruption—and allegations of it—to further their own inclusion.
