Ben Parker is Associate Professor of English at Brown University. His first book, Misrecognitions: Plotting Capital in the Victorian Novel, was published by Cornell University Press in 2024. His scholarly articles on novels and novel theory have appeared in English Literary History, New Literary HistoryModern Language Quarterly,and Novel.
