Hoyt Long

Hoyt Long is associate professor of Japanese literature at the University of Chicago, where he codirects the Textual Optics Lab and teaches in media history and cultural analytics. His most recent book is The Values in Numbers: Reading Japanese Literature in a Global Information Age (Columbia University Press, 2021).
