Clayton Childress

Clayton Childress is an associate professor in the department of sociology at University of British Columbia. He is the author of Under the Cover: The Creation, Production, and Reception of a Novel (Princeton University Press, 2017), which won the 2018 Mary Douglas Prize for Best Book from the Sociology of Culture section of the American Sociological Association. Most recently he has published on tokenism in the creation and consecration of postcolonial literature.
