Barbara N. Nagel

Barbara N. Nagel is assistant professor of German at Princeton University and author of Ambiguous Aggression in German Realism and Beyond: Flirtation, Passive Aggression, Domestic Violence (Bloomsbury Academic, 2019) and Der Skandal des Literalen: Barocke Literalisierungen in Gryphius, Kleist, Büchner (Wilhelm Fink, 2012). She is the recipient of the Berlin Prize from the American Academy.
