Daniel Behar is a postdoctoral fellow at Dartmouth College, where he teaches Hebrew and Arabic literatures. His forthcoming book is about modern poetry and poetry translation in Syria. His Hebrew and English translations of Arabic poetry have appeared in several literary journals.
