Bo McMillan is a PhD student of English and comparative literature at Columbia University who studies the relationships between narrative and neighborhood change in the 20th century. His writing has appeared in or is forthcoming in American Literature, the Chicago Review, the Avery Review, and various journalistic outlets. He is also the research assistant to Patrice Derrington, Holliday Professor of Real Estate at Columbia University.
