Pardis Dabashi is an assistant professor of literature and film at the University of Nevada, Reno. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Modern Fiction Studies, Modernism/modernity, Politics/Letters, and elsewhere. She is also the coordinator of the PMLA special feature “Cultures of Argument,” forthcoming in the October 2020 issue.
