Nicole Callahan is the TOMS Core Faculty Fellow in Contemporary Civilization and a Core Lecturer in the Department of English and Comparative Literature at Columbia University. Her research focuses on composition pedagogies and the history of the essay. She received her PhD in English Education from Columbia’s Graduate School of Arts and Sciences in 2017.
