Rose Casey is an assistant professor of English at West Virginia University. Her first book, Aesthetic Impropriety: Property Law and Postcolonial Style, is forthcoming with Fordham University Press. Her public writing has appeared in the Boston Review, the Chronicle of Higher Education, and The Rambling.
