Carmen Merport Quiñones is the Margaret Deffenbaugh Carlson Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Chicago in the department of English, where she received her PhD in 2018. Her work draws on the fields of literary studies, art history, and media studies in order to explore the ways culture shapes our perception of identity.
