Emily D. Johnson

Emily D. Johnson is an associate professor of Russian at the University of Oklahoma. She writes articles and books on the city of St. Petersburg, the legacy of the Soviet labor camp system, and contemporary Russian culture. Most recently, she served as the editor and translator of Arsenii Formakov’s Gulag Letters (2017).
