Alisa Solomon

Alisa Solomon, a professor at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism, has written for The Nation, the New York Times, NewYorker.com, The Forward, American Theater, Theater, and TDR, among other publications, and the Village Voice, where she was on staff for two decades. Her books include Re-Dressing the Canon: Essays on Theater and Gender (Routledge, 1997) and Wonder of Wonders: A Cultural History of Fiddler on the Roof (Metropolitan, 2013).
