Omari Weekes

Omari Weekes is an assistant professor of English at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon. His primary scholarly work thinks through the affective dimensions of sex and spirituality in 20th- and 21st-century African American literature. Other research interests include black popular culture, black religious studies, and representations of African Americans in Latin America.
