Lynn Stephen

Lynn Stephen is Philip H. Knight Chair, professor of anthropology, and graduate faculty in Indigenous, Race, and Ethnic Studies at the University of Oregon. Her research centers on immigration, Indigenous/Native peoples in the Americas, and gendered violence. Indigenous Women and Violence: Feminist Activist Research in Heightened States of Injustice, coedited with Shannon Speed (University of Arizona Press, 2021), is her most recent book.
