Matthew John Phillips

Matthew John Phillips is a doctoral candidate and former Jacob K. Javits Fellow at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. His dissertation, “Worldly Figures,” is about literary character in the history and theory of the 19th-century British novel. He lives in Philadelphia, PA, with his husband.
