Rex Barnes is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Religion at Columbia University. His dissertation, “Haunting Matters,” explores late medieval and early modern notions of demonic infestation in German-speaking lands. He lives in New York City with his wife and daughter. He is also an avid fan of comic books and popular videogaming.
