Samantha Agarwal is a Changemaker Postdoctoral Fellow at the School of International Service at American University. Her research interests broadly fall in the fields of political sociology, social inequality, and global sociology. She is working on a book that comparatively and ethnographically examines the rise of India’s ethnonationalist movement and how it is refracted through the political economies of caste.
