Madeline Ullrich is a PhD candidate in Visual and Cultural Studies at the University of Rochester. Her current research explores television representations of gender, sexuality, and feminism, both historically and on contemporary TV. Ullrich’s articles have appeared or are forthcoming in ASAP/Journal, Camera Obscura, Los Angeles Review of Books, and Post45.
