Tia Glista is a PhD student at the University of Toronto. Her research engages gesture, posture, and pose as sites of nonnormative ethics, politics, and sociality in North American women’s and feminist writing. She is also trained in cinema studies and visual culture and writes for The Guardian, Document Journal, Electric Literature, AnOther, Dirt, and elsewhere.
