Jules Boykoff is the author of three books on the Olympic Games, most recently Power Games: A Political History of the Olympics (2016). His essays at the nexus of politics and sports have appeared recently in publications like the New York Times, Jacobin, the Guardian, the Los Angeles Times, and New Left Review. He teaches politics at Pacific University in Oregon.
