Katie Peterson is the author of five collections of poetry, including A Piece of Good News (Farrar, Straus & Giroux, 2019) and Life in a Field (Omnidawn, 2021). She directs the MFA program in creative writing at University of California–Davis, where she is professor of English and a chancellor’s fellow.
