Joseph Albernaz is an assistant professor of English and comparative literature at Columbia University. Much of his work focuses on Romantic literature and the force of its political and theoretical legacies. He is writing a book about community called All Things Common. He has also written on contemporary poetry for venues such as the Los Angeles Review of Books.
