Sumayya Kassamali

Sumayya Kassamali is a writer and anthropologist based at the University of Toronto. Her current academic research focuses on the urban afterlife of migrant domestic labor in Beirut, Lebanon, and her broader interests include Third World Internationalism, Asian and African diasporic formations, and Islamic aesthetics.
