Brandy Monk-Payton

Brandy Monk-Payton is an assistant professor of communication and media studies at Fordham University. Her research focuses on the history and theory of African American media representation and cultural production. Her work appears in various edited collections and the journals Communication, Culture & Critique, Film Quarterly, Feminist Media Histories, and The Black Scholar.
