Deborah Paredez is an associate Professor and chair of the School of the Arts Writing Program at Columbia University. A poet and scholar, she has published books including Year of the Dog (BOA Editions, 2020), a poetry collection that tells the story of being a Latina daughter of the Vietnam War.
