Iván Chaar López is Assistant Professor in the Department of American Studies and Principal Investigator of the Border Tech Lab at the University of Texas at Austin. He is the author of The Cybernetic Border: Drones, Technology, and Intrusion (Duke Univ. Press, 2024). With Precarity Lab, he co-wrote Technoprecarious (Goldsmiths, 2020).
